A client with multiple felony convictions and six prior prison terms was unable to obtain a contractor's license due to his lengthy but old felony record. His record was completely expunged, allowing him to secure a contractor's license, which doubled his annual income by eliminating the need to split his business with another licensed individual.

“J.,” A young man involved in a fatal crash, turned to drugs out of guilt. After multiple convictions for drugs, he went to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center and became clean and sober. Despite his life changes, he was unable to obtain a nursing license due to prior convictions. His felony convictions were expunged and reduced to misdemeanors under the expungement laws, enabling him to become a nurse. Over the years, J. has earned a doctorate in nursing and runs several successful treatment programs.

“C.,” A client convicted of attempted murder 15 years earlier was told by other law firms that his record was “too serious” to be expunged. He was struggling to obtain a contractor's license. We successfully expunged his record completely, and he is now a licensed contractor in California.

“P.,” A pilot was removed from the flight line due to a DUI conviction. After the DUI was successfully removed from his record and with his rehabilitative efforts, he was able to regain his license and become a licensed pilot again.

“V.,” A client convicted of sexual assault against a minor when he was very young served custody time and was required to register as a sex offender under the 290 requirements. After leaving custody, he eventually married the victim, and they have been happily married for decades with several children. We had him removed from the registration list, allowing him to find better employment and move on from the shadow of his past mistake.

“M.,” had multiple felony convictions for stealing from apartment vending machines. His drug addiction controlled him until he took charge and got sober. He learned a great trade and quickly became a lead for his boss. However, his record prohibited him from doing any work on government contracts. We made multiple requests to expunge his past, but each judge said “No.” Our Perseverance paid off, and we finally got his record completely cleaned up. He can now work on any job site and looks forward to expanding his career opportunities as his skills and experience grow.
